Music Therapy

Our music therapy services begin with an initial evaluation, where we get to know the strengths, needs, and appropriateness for services. Together, we’ll identify meaningful goals and create a personalized treatment plan that can support a variety of goal areas including: regulation skills, communication, motor movement, self esteem etc. Contact us to schedule your evaluation.

Music Lessons

At Arroyo Pathways, we believe music should be accessible and enjoyed by all. We offer both music therapy informed lessons and adapted music lessons designed to meet learners exactly where they are. Whether a client is building foundational musical skills or exploring self-expression through sound, our sessions blend evidence-based practice with hands-on music-making. Every lesson is individualized and crafted to support growth and confidence.

Group Based Sessions

Our music therapy groups bring individuals together to connect, learn, and grow through music. We begin with a consultation to determine the most appropriate group placement and ensure the group is a good fit for each participant's strengths, needs, and goals. Within this setting, our clients can connect with peers to develop skills in areas such as communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, motor movement, self-esteem, and self-expression.

Parent Training

We believe in a collaborative, team-based approach to care. Meaningful sessions and progress happen when everyone involved works together, including family members, teachers, caregivers, support staff, and other service providers. While growth begins during music therapy sessions, it’s impact extends when skills from sessions are carried into everyday life. By empowering and training those who support our clients, we help create opportunities for continued success far beyond the therapy room.
